The Hahnair Foundation is proud to support a programme from a citizen initative in Dreieich (Bürgerstiftung Dreieich), the community where the Hahnair head office is located. “Wünsch Dir was 2.0” (Make a wish 2.0) invites local clubs, associations and non-profit initiatives in and around Dreieich to submit project ideas that benefit the community. Funding is intended for projects in areas such as education and youth development, culture, sports, health, social engagement and the environment. Typical examples include purchases or investments that help organisations deliver their work, such as equipment, materials, training resources or improvements to facilities.
How we support this initiative
To strengthen the impact of the programme, the Hahnair Foundation will match donations raised for selected projects, effectively doubling the amount (within the Foundation’s dedicated budget for this initiative). This increases the support that local organisations receive and helps more projects become reality. Applications can be submitted until 30th April 2026. Selected projects will be invited to present their cause and, after final approval, will receive funding in July.
How projects are selected
Submitted projects will be reviewed and selected jointly by the boards of Bürgerstiftung Dreieich and Hahnair Foundation, based on the programme criteria. Project owners can find details on eligibility criteria and the application process via Bürgerstiftung Dreieich. Kirsten Rehmann, CEO of Hahnair, comments: “Our aim is to give back to the local community we are part of. We are proud to support this initiative, strengthen our local community and create meaningful impact together.”
