Now all that is left to do is to paint the walls. “I’ll do it in early July before the kids come. By then the long holidays are over!” says Min Min, who oversaw the construction and coordination of the project. “The villagers are very satisfied, and the teachers and students are very excited to begin classes.”
The project took a total of 3 months and cost 30,000 euros. This includes the building and furniture costs as well as the construction of the bathrooms.
At the beginning of next year, there will be an unveiling where the villagers can celebrate but the children and teachers are eager to start using the facilities!
